It is our mission to feel like a breath of fresh air and second home to women, families & communities that we serve. CITIWomen is located throughout Texas and provides programs, services & recourses to those already IN & SERVING their communities, as well as, INDIVIDUAL support for at risk women, such as counseling, educational opportunities & increasing overall quality of life.

About our Founder
Dr. Coyletta Govan
In 2006, Dr. Coyletta founded CITIWomen (Communities In Texas Impower Women) and established it as a faith-based 501(c)3 non-profit women’s organization in 2014. Dr. Govan promotes the organization’s mission to demonstrate the love of Christ through acts of service while fulfilling Matthew 25:31-46. Her outreach ministry includes facilitating lifestyle management skills and transformational personal development coaching.
Dr. Govan is a self-proclaimed “Flutterologist”. God has used her love for butterflies to inspire the launch of Flutterology 101, the pursuit of a predetermined purpose. She is the visionary of the "A Time To Flutter" Kaleidoscope Impact Conference and Expo hosted by CITIWomen. Her experiences, triumphs, defeats, leadership roles, and mentoring relationships have provided a strong foundation for her ministry.
